Words you might see

  • Vial: a small bottle with a cap.
  • Nitrile: a glove material. It is strong and has no latex.
  • pH: a number from 0 to 14. It shows how acidic a liquid is.
  • Data logger: a small device that saves temperature readings over time.
  • Sharps: anything that can cut or poke, like needles, blades or broken glass.
  • Gauge (G): how thick a needle is. A bigger number means a thinner needle.
  • ml: milliliter, a small unit of volume.
